Can the Flex 2.5G PoE operate without an AC power adapter?

Yes. The switch can be powered via PoE+++ from a compatible Ubiquiti PoE injector (sold separately). With PoE+++ input, you have 57W of PoE availability for connected devices. For maximum PoE budget (196W), the optional 210W AC adapter is required.

What is the difference between the three power configurations?

With PoE+++ input, the switch provides 57W PoE output. With PoE++ input, 37W is available. With PoE+ input, 12W is available. Connecting the optional 210W AC adapter unlocks the full 196W PoE capacity for powering multiple high-draw devices simultaneously.

Is the AC power adapter included?

No. The 210W AC adapter (model NHU-UACC-ADAPTER210W) is sold separately. The switch can operate using PoE+++ input from another Ubiquiti PoE device or injector.
