The CHT570 requires a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) support for video output. It is compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4 ports and USB4 ports. Some USB-C ports only support charging or data transfer without video output. Check your laptop's specifications before purchasing to confirm DP Alt Mode support.
Does the USB-C PD port support data transfer?
No. The USB-C PD port is dedicated for power delivery and charging only. Use the other USB-C port (5Gbps) for data transfer.
What is the maximum resolution supported?
The CHT570 supports up to 4K@60Hz resolution. However, this requires a laptop GPU with DP1.4 support (such as Intel 11th Gen Core Mobile Processors or later). Older GPUs with DP1.2 support will operate at 4K@30Hz.
